Solitaire
Choose one of the 12 puzzle layouts to solve. Shuffle the deck and draw the number of cards indicated in figure for layout you are playing. Set the rest of the deck aside and out of play. Then solve the puzzle by connecting all the cards so that each touching side completes a picture of a boy or a girl and the final puzzle shape matches the puzzle layout you are playing.
2 or more players

Set the rest of the deck aside and out of play. Then solve the puzzle by connecting all the cards so that each touching side completes a picture of a boy or a girl and the final puzzle shape matches the puzzle layout you are playing. Remember
For any designated layout you choose and for any cards you choose ... the puzzle can be solved!
Note
If you want to play a 2x2 puzzle, remove the card designated with the letter "L" to be sure that puzzle can be solved.
